Tcl 8.4 is what I have used here in the three platforms to
build
TclCsound, but we can go back as far as 8.1 I think.

I haven't seen this frontend, but I have used John ffitch's
control opcodes with tk sliders before.

TclCsound should work OK on OS 9, as it just provides a
number of API commands and it does not require pipes,
the csound instance is built into the interpreter.

I would be curious to see if it can be built and ran in OS
9. Let
me know how you get on when you get down to doing it.
I am hoping Cecilia will become the standard
multiplatform frontend for Csound 5, with TclCsound. In

I will keep you informed of course.  Yes, if Cecilia could become the
cross-platform standard frontend that would be wonderful!  I would love for
the "old dame" to return to her roots and support OS 9 again -- Cecilia
really can do some amazing things.  (Of course, I think blue is absolutely
amazing too -- I just cannot run it on my computer :( )
