I don't have a Web site myself, and if I did I would probably have the same 
problem with downloads.

However, a zip file with just CsoundVST shouldn't be so bad...

Correct, it can't go with source code.

About hosts, I don't know which ones run it and which don't. I did make some 
changes in the past few years to increase its stability.
