i just saw that the url
git://csound.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/csound/csound5
for getting latest csound sources as read-only is no longer correct. the 
last change was from the beginning of december.

am i right that it is now
git://git.code.sf.net/p/csound/csound5-git
?

if so, i'd be thankful for a hint next time. i thought i was up-to-date, 
but i simply had the wrong url.

Yes, Sourceforge updated/changed their system and the url is now

git://git.code.sf.net/p/csound/csound5-git

for the sources, with

git://git.code.sf.net/p/csound/manual-git
and
git://git.code.sf.net/p/csound/csound6-git

CS6 is not ready for general use as it is being reconstructed -- nearly
every file has changed since Dec 20

both the old and the new links seem to work, for Csound and for the manual.
Perhaps there is a transition period?
But i 'll change the links in the manual and csounds.com.

By the way, while i'm changing the Building Csound page of the manual, is the
new scons option useIpMIDI=1 only valid for Linux users?
It does build here on Ubuntu but i've never used it..
