| The csoundmodule.c file is Maurizio Puxeddu's version of a Python wrapper for Csound.
You may wish to take a look at whether you want to revive this or not (it would do more or less what CsoundVST's Python extension module does, but could perhaps be made part of the regular Csound shared library).
I think it would be confusing to have two Python extension modules for Csound, myself, but I also think it would be better to have the module built into the regualr Csound shared library.

At least the following files are probably not needed:
py.diff - an old diff file
csoundmodule.c - it is not included, referenced, or used anywhere
grepping the entire source tree for csoundmodule.c reveals no hits
this file would also fail when compiled
