I will try put a test for Python in the installer, and I will try to make it so that the user will have a choice: (a) install Python, or (b) have the installer copy the Python modules to a dummy directory, which will prevent the warning messages.

Hi All,

I've had some off-list correspondence w. Victor.  wrt csnd.py and  
_csnd.so  in 5.06+

On OSX the SConstruct file currently assumes the python used the  
Apple default (2.3.x), which for python programmers is hardly ever  
the case any more.
Is it  possible for this to build/install relative to the python used  
to run the scons file?
