The Satellite Gamelan is finally based on Csound. For those who don’t know check out the Readme.md. https://github.com/GregSchiemer/SatGam/blob/main/README.md A big thank you to tireless efforts by people on this list. Thank you all, especially Victor Lazzarini, Stephen Yi and John ffitch. Yesterday students with iPhones tried using the new app for the first time at the Sydney Conservatorium (Thorin Kerr’s alma mater). The premiere workshop concert is on May 7. My piece is called Phonehenge. Please check out the acknowledgements. Corrections welcome. Dr B, I’d like to include the most current link to your toots. I’m also looking for a better example for Bill Alves who was my collaborator in an earlier project with j2me phones. I have yet to test the setup procedure with Android phones. Greg S |

This is so cool and exciting. The premiere will be amazing, I am sure. I can't wait to play with it and share it with my students at Berklee. WOW. Please feel free to link to any of my work/toots/instruments. - Dr.B Dr. Richard Boulanger Professor Electronic Production and Design Berklee College of Music Professional Writing & Technology Division On Tue, Apr 21, 2026 at 9:14 PM Greg Schiemer <greg@schiemer.com.au> wrote: The Satellite Gamelan is finally based on Csound.
