No pressure but just asking - is it possible? It was actually Joachim who told that jack seems to be the most stable audio driver on MacOS (at least through CsoundQt), he had some problems otherwise and was hoping to use it in a concert next week, I guess.

thanks for explaining, and thanks to tarmo trying to include this in the 
next csoundqt 7 beta release.
would it not be time now to release csound 7.0.0?  it was planned for 
december, and although fixes continue, i think those are not substantial?
if so, we will have jack included. and users can download and install in 
the normal way.
as far as i can tell from using csound 7 beta all the time, we are 
really good to go now.

Yes, I think we are close. However we have had quite a few bugs in edge cases,
mostly relating to the big changes introduced in Nov/December. I think most of
7.0 is very stable (and more so than 6.18 in fact) but I’d like to give it a few
more weeks so we can be more confident.
