Yes the analysis is just for wrapped languages.  It's just a bit of a design mismatch between conventions in C/C++ vs. Java/Python/etc.

Thanks for your clarification. I have filed an issue at Github for this. For
now I'm not using string channels any more but obviously it would be great
to have the option.
