This and onthat can be filenames, and this at least can also be an SCons target object.

Updating the code is now a bit of a pain, since if things change in
the API, the interfaces lib will not build, have to delete the whole
interfaces directory and get new sources, and even
then I am getting problems.
Dependencies are not working well in scons. Can anyone who knows fix it?
