I was wrong, it seems OK now. The crash on exit
occurs only when I do -+rtmdi=virtual without -M0.
If that's avoided, then there is no trouble.

FYI - i compled the sources and FLTK now does run in MacCsound,
but it still takes over the menu bar and makes all mouse and keyboard
clicks ineffective, so you can't do anything aftwards and
have to force-quit out of the application.

if FLTK could be made to cleanup nicely and return control
to the host application i for one would be very grateful!

WOW.  It would be awesome if FLTK were to run from MacCsound!  This  
is fantastic news.
No problem with it taking over the menu - that is... if they could  
fix the fource-quit requirement.

this is the same problem -- FLTK hijacks all of the application's user
interaction/interface.
