This may not be useful, but I was having weird and serious problems with csound5
on 64 bit linux. I'm reverting my csound desktop to 32 bit. I didn't have time
to really track down the problems, but my large gig rig was segfaulting all over
the place and once I rebooted into a 32 bit system, the exact same code was fine.

All the small examples worked fine, but not the big stuff.

On the other hand I am having no trouble with my (two) AMD64 machines.
I think a littl emore infprmatipn is needed.  Like which binary package?
