Hi all,

Currently if I send a score note event through the API with negative
instrument number it will only turn off instrument with indefinite
duration (negative p3), and it will warn if it finds none. Wouldn't it
be good to remove this restriction, to allow turning off any
instrument (whether indefinite or not), but naturally checking for the
fractional part if present?
It would enable more control of score events throught the API.
