That problem was that the argument to FL_run was not being passed.
With that changed it seems to work; latency is much worse than it used
to be though.

John, I'm not sure what you're referring to, but the manual states that 
FLrun takes no arguments. Has that changed ?

I think I mentioned this before, but when I run the examples/fl.csd test 
with -odac:plughw:2 the latency is unnoticeable when I move the knob. 
With -odac2 the latency is quite apparent.
