Subject[Cs-dev] [OT] Browsers and Soundcloud
I am hoping for help with two (unrelated) browser problems.

1: On soundcloud all tracks (as far as I can tell) fail to play with
a generic "this cannot play" style message -- this happens on two
computers on different networks. The help people have only
suggested using another browser. So far I have failed to install
chrome as it is missing a dependency and Opera only offers me e Debian
package; I am using openSuSE3.2. I tried w3m but that does not have
javascript. Are there any other linux browsers that do not use kde
or gnome?

2: Since the start of the above seamonkey developed a new feature in that
is segv faults before displaying anything. I tried firefox and that
helpfully displays a window saying "I have crashed". My real question
is how to get a working seamonkey, or failing that a firefox browser?
Or an answer to 1 for a browser tat actually runs.

Seanmonkey failed this morning here and two weeks ago on the other
machine; firefox sometime in the last 30hrs as I only use it rarely

It does rather reenforce my anti-web stance, and encourages a
commandline interface......
