I've created a release branch for 6.04.0.  You should do a git pull, then do a

git checkout release/6.04.0

When doing release scripts, please be sure to use release/6.04.0 as the branch when running those.  

I've bumped up the version info in include/version.h.  I left the API version at 3, though I'm not positive that's the correct thing here.  Technically there are some backwards incompatible changes, but in practice just about all apps will work out-of-the-box I think.  

Otherwise, I'm going to hold off on building Android and iOS releases until John and Victor give the green light that the release branch looks alright for any other version info or README changes or things.  I've been communicating with Ed and there are a few things left for the Emscripten build, so that may lag behind a bit.  I also need to assemble a Csound for OSX release script.  I'll be pushing any changes related to the release to the release/6.04.0 branch.  If you make updates to build scripts or anything relating to this release, please be sure to push to the correct branch.
