last night I got soundin to work correctly with the SndFile library.
Not tested in all cases but seems OK.
  Started to convert diskin, but that is currently looking harder, and
very broken in my version.  Still have to do in/ins opcodes, and the
stand-alone components.
  Normal -o stuff is working OK, except that I have doubts about
scaling and about peak chunks.  Looping samples are still untackled.
