Dear Csound List,

I just recently found this incredible project while looking for a
sound solution for an IOS project.  Totally Awesome. Could not believe
I did not find this project sooner.

I downloaded the IOS version 5.19 and tested the example projects.
Tested on Iphone 4 (ios6), Iphone 4s(ios6) and simulator 6.1.  Most
examples worked great on Iphone 4s and Simulator.  Iphone 4 had
problems with Multitouch (a bit slow) and Haiku (cracks and pops after
playing for 5 seconds).   The microphone example had a lot of noise
and feedback while trying to record in both iphone 4,4s and also in
the simulator.

The more I read about Csound, the more I am convinced that I would
like to use Csound in all future IOS projects that uses sound.  It's
so flexible and incredibly powerful.  My only concern at the moment is
performance.  I noticed that there are some very sophisticated IOS
apps built with Csound so performance doesn't seem to be a problem.

I would be very happy if those who have more experience with Csound
and IOS apps could share performance tips or best practices.   Perhaps
my experiences with the examples is only in this 5.19 version and a
future version will be fixed.  This leads to another question.  Will
there be a new Csound 6.0 coming soon?
