I noticed that the changes you have checked in have renamed GLOBAL to
ENVIRON.  Any reason why not ENVIRONMENT?  (I guess it won't matter
though if we change it again to CSOUND_STATE, HOST_INTERFACE,
PLUGIN_INTERFACE, etc.)
