Hi all, I was trying to compile csound4 sources on win2k from cvs and noticed that Makefile was removed the source tree (it's in the cvs attic). The commit message for it says "Fixes for MacOSX" and was committed by John ffitch 2 weeks, 5 days ago (this is from browsing the cvs online at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/csound/csound/Attic/Makefile). Was this an intentional delete? I haven't tried to compile csound4 on win2k in a while and last I remembered this Makefile was the one to use for windows. Thanks, steven |

Deliberate. In csound4 there are separate Makefiles for each platform and having a Makefile is confusing as it may be the Linux one, or OSX, or whoever committed last. On Windows2000 I use the Microsoft project. ==John |

Thanks for the clarification. I had some problems with figuring out the right set of defines and sources to select for cygwin and windows(admittedly, didn't spend too much time with it), so I I'll try using the Michael's dev-cpp project (don't have ms-visual studio here on this computer). steven John ffitch wrote: >Deliberate.
