| I sure wish that SWIG-generated Python modules could be neutral as to version of Python! But they can't.
I will convert Csound 5 to Python 2.4 as soon as some other packages that I vitally depend on, notably SciPy, are up to speed with 2.4. Last time I tried it only worked well with 2.3.
There's no problem with having multiple versions of Python installed, but of course I understand that's inconvenient for some people.

Subject: [Cs-dev] Python versions
I was working with a user last week and he had python 2.4 installed
and that caused problems. Can the python stuff be version-neutral or
configurable?
