Probably not the best time to be asking, but ... it would be great if miditempo accepted f8 clock messages and tempo could be altered accordingly. Additionally (but of far lesser importance), JACK-MIDI support would be fantastic. Just in case anyone finds the time, Jonathan. _______________________________________________ Csound-devel mailing list Csound-devel@lists.sourceforge.net |

I've been trying to figure out how to do this but I'm at a loss as to how to convert the frequency of the clock pulses to a cps value that I could then use to control tempo. Is that the approach that you had in mind? An example would be most helpful if you have the time. TIA, Jonathan. _______________________________________________ Csound-devel mailing list Csound-devel@lists.sourceforge.net |

That was the impression that I had from looking at midirecv.c but wasn't sure that I understood the code correctly. Thanks again. At least I'll stop banging my head against that particular wall. Jonathan. Istvan Varga |
