[Cs-dev] FLTK on windows

Subject[Cs-dev] FLTK on windows
I am having real trouble with fltk on windows. I am using 1.1.9
compiled with mingw and that seems OK, tests run etc and only one test
fails to compile. However when compiling csound5 ever compilation
involving fltk linking fails with many undefined references which look
like fltk ones. I have not found how to capture the output and it
rushes off the screen to fast to stop so I do not know what the first
error is.

So,

1: how can I capture the output? It is bash, a shell I do not
usually use

2: any clues as to what is happening? Could it be ordering in libfltk.a?

3: any suggestions as how to fix whatever it is?

The FLTK library names differ between 1.1 and 1.3. Sometimes Csound
has used 1.1, sometimes it has used 1.3.

I am currently changing the Windows build to attempt to use an up to
date snapshot of 1.3 instead of the 1.1 release. I haven't checked
anything in.

On another note, I should have the Windows installer released sometime
this week - I've been upgrading all 3rd party packages and this is
taking longer than expected.

Regards,
Mike
