| At this point, I don't have a functioning MinGW toolchain for Csound on my computer -- it was by trying to upgrade it in order to build 5.08 that I found the newer version doesn't work, and that is why I am switching to MSVC.
Obviously I have a choice between reverting to the old version of the MinGW toolchain and trying to get the MSVC build working. I have chosen the latter option. I have no desire to put time into rebuilding a toolchain that I probably will not use more than once.
If you want to try it yourself, go ahead. I'll quickly answer any questions you have.
Regards,
Mike
