Ah, I understood that it might not be too late. Obviously it is too
late. That's disappointing. I had a working solution to this issue 6
months ago. I've been waiting to publish some new Cabbage features
since then. Do you know when the next release date is planned for?

I don't understand why you can't implement a workaround. GEN1 has 4 params, that is not going to change. You check what gen number it is, then you know.

I can't check what GEN routine is is because the argsPtr array is not
populated with any of the creation parameters. For example, this code
will keep spitting out 0s?

Ok, so it is a different thing to what I thought.  When you said it returned zero, I assumed it was the actual return value, not the args array. The problem might be that the array is MYFLT and one if the args is a string, so it is stored in a different way. I will need to investigate this, but obviously a report on the day of the release will not delay it unless we are talking about serious bugs.

I see there is a note in the code from Jpff saying that the current implementation does not handle extended args. So that is why GEN1 args are not being saved. It needs to be fixed.

I guess I can assume that it's a Gen01 if the number of args is 0 and the table size is above 0. Pretty iffy stuff but enough to keep me going. I remember I had a similar issue with gen01 in my implementation but I no longer have the code.
