I think "Csound," literally, is a great name because that's exactly what it
is. What do you think?

I'm very happy to see so many people, including you, getting traction with
upgrading Csound. I think we can see a very substantially improved musical
instrument in our futures.

This multi-instancing thing, for example, will mean that ordinary studio
musicians can use Csound in sequencers without wondering why they can only
have one plugin running at a time.

Yes.  As I move to multiple instances the name GLOBALS seems less helpful 
-- it did start as exactly a structure of all globals but things are 
changing.  How about renaming this to ENV or CSOUND or some better name?  

Last night I got a little further with moving to a passed (pointer to) the 
GLOBAL structure in the plugins.  This is requiring changes in the base, 
and I want to do the same basic change to OOps, Engine etc as soon the 
Opcodes are done.
