| Greetings,
Yesterday I built Csound 5.13 from sources on a machine running 32-bit
Ubuntu 10.04. No problems compiling or installing, thank you devs !
Alas, the new parser causes a serious problem in AVSynthesis, i.e. it
crashes the program whenever I try to run anything in it. I've verified
this problem - I rebuilt Csound with buildNewParser=0 and now
AVSynthesis runs beautifully again.
Unfortunately I have no other information to deliver. There were no
warnings to indicate that the parser was at fault - I made a lucky
guess. I have an error report issued by Java that may be of assistance
to any developer who might want to investigate the problem. Please
advise if you want to check it out, I'll send it.
Also: Are there any OpenGL experts here ? I have a laptop with an nVidia
chipset that seems to not recognize one of the GLSL shaders in AVS. I'm
stumped as to how to go about diagnosing such a problem.
Best,
dp
