I would be happy to host the program at cSounds.com - if.... it  
didn't drown the site with downloads and cost
me a ton of extra cash to support hosting it there.  Also, is it  
legal to host and distribute this program if it uses
the Steinberg code - I guess we could host the binaries, but not  
legally host the source code?

Maybe Michael should host this *special* version of Csound?

I call it special because I believe it is not legal to distribute  
parts of it - right - at sourceforge anyway?

I also call it *special* because I am not sure if this version runs  
on ALL the OS and platforms that Csound runs on?

Lastly, I call is *special* because even though it is called  
CsoundVST, I am not sure if this version actually runs
as a VST in many programs that host VSTs - there are a number of  
Windows hosts that don't run it, and I don't think
that there are ANY Mac hosts that run it.

I don't mean to sound too negative here about CsoundVST.

BUT....

The thought of a VST version of Csound is so exciting - and I am sure  
that this version of Csound actually is - a VST.
If it is - then I think there should be an effort on the part of the  
author and the community to make sure that it actually
runs like a VST on all the platforms supported by Csound that support  
VSTs.
