liblo.dll is needed by osc.dll and mgwfltnox-1.1.dll by
widgets.dll. If you remove these files from your
opcodedir, there should be no problem.

Ok, the missing dll's are liblo.dll and mgwfltknox-1.1.dll, and the error
only tell me, that an error is find in the moment to start the
application, the dll's aren't found.
I already found fluidsynth.dll, and portaudio_x86.dll.

You know how to avoid the callings of this libraries?, or were find the
binaries, or compiling procedure?.
Thanks anyway and good luck.

Ok, I search the .dll’s in the directory but I didn’t find them, there is
no osc.dll or widgets.dll in any place, and when I compile the code, only
include the H directory and link csoun32, calling csound32.dll.5.1, but
anyway when call the created exe file still calls the fluidsynth.dll,
liblo.dll, portaudio_x86.dll, mgwfltknox-1.1.dll (I already have the
fluidsynth.dll and portaudio_x86.dll).
Maybe I have to compile csound with different options? (I set all to 0 in
the Scons file).
Thanks, really appreciate the help.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do, can you give us a little
more detail. Are you trying to build a Csound application using the API
or are you simply trying to build and run Csound?

Rory.

SubjectRe: [Cs-dev] dll's help
Thanks to answer so quickly.

I want to use the csound library from my c++ code; I have some educational
software and am really interested in the generation of algorithmic music
in real time, based in different changing variables in the software.
And am starting a hello world application, based in the “Introduction to
using the Csound Host Api” document writhed by Rory Walsh
(http://www.csounds.com/articles/RoryWalsh_CsoundAPI.pdf).

So the thing is call the csound API from c++, in gcc, migwin gcc, and
hopefully visual studio, but to accomplish this I think I really don’t
need all the external libraries, or at least not for now, but I cant
accomplish avoid the need of the dlls (I set all the configurations in the
scons file to avoid the need of all dependences).

Any help or comments would be really appreciated.
Thanks to all and good luck.

Ok. And so the problem lies in that whenever you try to run your
executable you get errors about missing dlls? Could it be that you have
an old version of Csound installed and your executable it trying to load
that csound library?

Thanks very much, is very weird but you are right (Weird the problem, not
that you are right :-P), but I uninstalled csound for windows, and when I
call the .exe, the callings to the dlls stop, I mean is weird the callings
to the dlls because I execute my exe in msys, but still somehow the
calling wasn’t to the library in the directory where the calling was made
instead the call was to csound in the program files directory, I suppose
the csound windows installation modify the windows path, and affects msys
path (mmm suppose that’s why msys can see python installation).
Anyway the best of the greetings, and good luck.
