I'd like to try writing a simple dummy app to use the csoundapi. Just wondering which version of Csound I should try this with. Does it work with both csound 4.23 and 5, or should I join the ranks of those trying to compile Csound 5? Thanks Iain |

The csound5 commandline executable uses the API and is a pretty barebones usage of it. It's in csound5/frontends/csound/csound_main.c. steven iainduncan@telus.net wrote: >I'd like to try writing a simple dummy app to use the csoundapi. Thanks Steven. I take it that means I'm best off trying to get Csound5 working here? Iain > The csound5 commandline executable uses the API and is a pretty > barebones usage of it.
