The STK sources require some (quite minimal) modification. In particular, they do not build a library that the STK opcodes can link with. At least, that was the case last time I looked.

Bottom line: don't change the STK build behavior unless the STK project itself has been reconfigured to built a library that the Csound STK opcodes can link with.
