as far as i know, diskin uses now the same code as diskin2.  currently 
the manual page for diskin says:
"diskin — Deprecated. Reads audio data from an external device or stream 
and can alter its pitch."

should we change this to "Reads audio data from an external device or 
stream and can alter its pitch. Diskin uses the same code as diskin2." 
or somthing like this?
