Hello Everybody,
I'm not knowledgable when it comes to wrappers, but I believe I discovered a
problem in the java wrapper csnd.jar. I've been trying to find a way around
this problem for about a week now. The trick is, I believe it must be a
platform-specific problem. I'm using windows XP and csound5.03 64, although
I found the same problems when I tried csound 5.04 64 as well as csound 5.03
32. Both of these example files, which apparently work fine on other
platforms, do not work for windows XP:

http://www.csounds.com/journal/2006summer/SliderDemo.html
The problem and the error message are described here:
http://www.nabble.com/Re%3A--Cs-dev--Using-channels-from-Java-API-tf1939699.html#a8385612
In short, I believe the GetPtr() method in the class CsoundMYFLTArray
returns the wrong class of object; it returns a SWIGTYPE_p_double object
instead of a SWIGTYPE_p_p_double. Can someone help me to get this working?
Is there anyone on windows that can actually get these examples to work? I'd
greatly appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks for your help all,
Casey
