Will versions prior to 6.06 continue to be archived at sourceforge?

I use these to test backward compatibility with my projects, and to state in
my docs which versions are compatible.

On github, I only see source materials relating to earlier releases.

Now that we have a full release on github, can we close the sourceforge

Could you give us the link to the archive top-level directory? We should add it to csound.github.io.
Then you can just delete the csound project at sourceforge (unless there are people here against it).

In /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ create a file named oldReleases.conf with this content:

<Directory the-path-to-OldReleases>

   AllowOverride None
   Order allow, deny
   Allow from all

Then restart the apache2 server: rcapache2 reload

That's exactly my worry. If we delete it, sf will
not be able to take it over. The problem, as I understand it, is sf using projects to place spoof downloads. If we get rid of it, that's us done.

I was wondering whether all csound5.* directories in /OldFiles should be moved to /csound5
and the csound4 directory in /OldFiles could replace the top-level csound4_old directory.

In other words:

Csound4/
Csound5/
     Csound5.*/
Csound6/

OldFiles/ => everything else.
