Hello Csounders,

I have been working with Barry Threw, Dave Akbari, Steven Yi, and Greg
Thompson to get some sort of Streaming Csound Radio Station happening at
cSounds.com. We moved to a new webhost this week and it is looking like it
might happen. I thought you might like to check out some of the tracks that
we will be featuring by clicking on the links below.

Soon we will have a nice page up which will give you more information about
the composers and the compositions and hopefully will include links to the
.orc, .sco, .csd files that made many of the works.

Also, we are working on a page that will allow you to submit new works that
we can put into the playlists.

As it stands now, I have created a series of 19 playlists that each have
between 30 - 60 minutes of Csound Music in them. I hope you find the time
to check them out and that you especially like what you hear.

But... I want more.

I want YOUR Csound compositions.
I want YOUR student's Csound compositions.
And I want to know the details about YOU and the pieces you submit.

So...

If you would like to send me some of your works to put into rotation here at
csounds.com email me the following:

Short Composer Bio (1-2 paragraph .txt)

Composer Photo (.jpg)

Composer Contact Info (home address, university/studio affiliation/address
.txt)

Composer email (.txt)

Short Program Note (1-3 paragraph .txt)

Info on the Composition:
- title of the composition?
- When was the piece made?
- How was the piece realized?
- What technologies other than Csound were used to make the Piece?
- What version of Csound was used to make the piece?
- What Csound Utilties were used to make the piece?

.mp3 of the composition

.orc, .sco, .csd of the composition
Alternately (if assembled in pro-tools, a sequencer, or a waveform editor)
.orc, .sco, .csd of some features sections of the composition

And....

If you are one of the composer's who's work is in my test suite of Csound
Music and you would like me to keep you in the rotation when I actually put
up the station, then could you please send me the info requested above about
your piece?

Finally, of course... I have no idea what this is going to cost me in
bandwidth charges??? So, please consider supporting cSounds.com by ordering
a copy of The Csound Catalog or by using one of the PayPal DONATE buttons at
csounds.com to make a contribution of any amout you can afford.

Thanks so much. Can't wait to check out all your new Csound Compositions.
Send them to me!

Dr. B.
