I think that most of the files that you listed are in use one way or
another.  Not everything that is useful is used or referenced by SConstruct.

The files in this directory could be removed (but not other cscore files):

These are the small simple GUI installer for linux and macosx that I
wrote; well actually new_install.cxx and installer.cxx are; install.c
is an earlier version.

util/dnoise_int.c is a MacintoshOS9 interface to dnoise.  It may not
be necessary any more.

I thought interfaces/cs_glue.cpp had gone.  Does anyone claim it?

The examples are useful to have but not necessarily in a distribution.
