No, I get the same error for some time.

Are you using the anonymous pserver access ? It is not the same
server as the one used by developers.

csound -U is more likely to work, the standalones tend not to
initialize correctly.

I logged on a few hours ago and forgot to log off. I just did a CVS
update a few minutes ago, so they must be blocking logins.

Subject[Cs-dev] Cs5 analysis utilities
Greetings:

I'm quick-testing the analysis utilities, they all die with a
segmentation fault. I'm running them only with their defaults, and I
have not tested them from 'csound -U'.

Best,

dp

Right, csound -U works perfectly.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "perfectly". The cvanal utility complained
that an input file had "less sound than expected". I tried analyzing the
file with the -d switch, got the same error. Otherwise, cvanal appears
to work fine, maybe it's this particular file, a WAV of an impulse response:

[dlphilp@localhost soundfiles]$ csound -U sndinfo TC-20-Large_Hall_Dark.wav
