ATSadd I wouldn't say is broken, not like ATScross in that it does not blow
out the speakers :-)
Seems like a different problem: when synthesizing with ksmps = 10 the output
has regular clips in it (very slight but can be heard on good speakers) like
the amplitudes of partials do not start with 0 (so you hear a slight clip at
the start of each partial).
With ksmps = 1 the result is far smoother but still there (when the same ast
files are synthesized in supercollider this problem does not persist).
I have written to Alex (who I think has originally written the ATS opcodes)
but he is too busy I think to look at it at the moment.
