I'm not sure John but perhaps you need to define BUILD_DEBUGGER?

I don't know John. It looks like something to do with the new debugger stuff. I bow out now...

Why?  I do not want/need the debugger as I use command line systems

All I did was a pull/make

SubjectRe: [Cs-dev] Does not build
The problem is a bad merge in csound.c. The sets of changes from one
side overwrote the other, leaving things in a bad state. I don't know
the code from either side so will leave it to Andres and John to fix
it up.

For reference: Travis-ci shows when the build started failing:

https://travis-ci.org/csound/csound/builds

and points to what commit was used for the build (build 88 starts the
failure, pointing to commit at
https://github.com/csound/csound/commit/7509e97c55b136f22a546cf2b1d1394db2ea40a5).

Note: Travis-ci should be sending messages on build failures to the
dev list, but I'm not sure it's subscribed at the moment. I don't
know if you can subscribe to travis-ci page for notifications.

If you look at that commit, you'll see that your merge essentially
deleted everything that Andres had put in. If you look at the diff at:

https://github.com/csound/csound/commit/7509e97c55b136f22a546cf2b1d1394db2ea40a5

Starting around line 1582 of csound.c, you'll see that the kperf_debug
that Andres added as well as use of csound->kperf() instead of kperf()
(line 1884) all got removed with your commit. I'd recommend using
Andres' version to start and redoing your work on top of it.

I'll fix this if John's already asleep. Csound never sleeps :).

Cheers,
