Helloooo csounders I'm having trouble with the iOS 7 for iOS SDK. I'd love
your perspectives/help.

When simply trying to run a single-view-application with some csound in the
AppSimulator, Xcode gets hung up trying to compile the csound related Obj-C
source.

I noticed that when I changed the Deployment Target from 7.1 to 7.0, the
project built in no time at all.
I tried this on a friend's machine, and it built just fine with the
Deployment Target set to 7.1

Anybody have a clue as to what might be going on here?? I've been noticing
this for a while on my machine, and have been working around it looong
enough.

Dan

Hi Dan,

So it seems that if things work fine on someone else's system but
doesn't on yours, that it's something specific to your system. It's
hard to say what's going on. What happens if you try to build your
project from the commandline, i.e.:

xcodebuild -project path/to/your.project

I tried building for target 7.1 here for the Csound iOS Examples
project and it compiled as usual. As it's a bit unusual, you may need
to search around online, as it might not be particular to Csound but
xcode/iOS.
