| So would it be helpful for me to try to get that working and test it? I have
a lot of free time at work over the summer with net access and windows only.

Everything in SConstruct builds and runs with MinGW, but you can only get
PortAudio to build with MingW if you use the Windows multimedia library.
DirectX builds but crashyes Csound, and ASIO builds but crashes the
PortAudio test programs. With the multimedia library, you can get about 40
milliseconds latency with Csound, which is bad -- not really usable for
instrumental performance.

So what's the story on the opcodes, was there something I didn't do? Or just
a work in progress thing?
Also, I can try building on minGW too if that will help at all. Was that
ready to work too or did Michael say there was an issue with minGW and
portaudio v19? I couldn't quite get what was being said there.
Thanks again
