Hi,

Csound 5.12.1 is crashing on me every time I join the csound thread in
QuteCsound on OS X Snow Leopard. If I install 5.11 it works fine.
Anyone else seeing this on OS X?

I haven't tested thoroughly, but I think linux is fine.

I guess there are no guaranties the 10.5 binaries will work on 10.6.  
There is no such problem on 10.5.

OK. Good to know. Did you try the latest stable release of QuteCsound,
or QuteCsound from svn? (if not, could you try the latter to see if
the problem lies in QuteCsound?)

Being pretty new to development on OSX I find this shocking. Does this
mean that every time Apple decide to upgrade, which is fairly
regularly, wel have to find someone with the latest OS to build
packages for that upgrade??

Hi,

I just installed 5.12 and tried things again and it's now working
fine. I think I had mixed up the plugins directory somehow so was
using mixed stuff... but anyway. Happy to report that the new 5.12.2
version is working fine on Snow Leopard with QuteCsound.

Spoke too soon.... There's still some instability, but seems to be
related to a particular plugin, since I've began using a smaller set
of plugin opcodes and it seems to be working stably now...

Will report if I find the culprit.
