Just downloaded, configured, and built your latest GNU build system package
on Windows XP with recent MinGW/MSYS. Everything went without a hitch.

I particulary appreciate your clear and concise documentation for using the
GBS package to build software using the Csound API.

Thanks for the good news.  

In case you haven't guessed, given that Csound 5 is still in beta, I'm
trying very hard to make an easy to install version of Csound 4
available before school starts for as many Unix-like platforms as
possible.  I thought I was done only to find out that the distribution
fails on OS X!  Not only are there compilation errors, but audio
libraries aren't being detected and configured correctly.  I'm on the
case, but the tricky part is that I don't have easy access to a
machine running OS X.

Thanks again.  Please don't hesitate to adapt the documentation for
use in Csound 5.
