I have been attempting to build CS5 on the Mac, but I have a problem in 
that InOut/rtpa_new.c makes a cast to PaDeviceIndex on line 97 (and 
elsewhere) but there is no trace of this type in portaudio.h
   Whqat happened?

What version of PortAudio it is ? I have PaDeviceIndex in both the portaudio.h
file installed by the distribution (portaudio.h,v 1.5.2.46 2004/02/14), and a
recent snapshot (portaudio.h,v 1.5.2.50 2004/12/13).

It seems as if my portaudio19 had been replaced with v18.  Still, v19
does not compile, before getting to the csound5 errors.
