--text follows this line--i have been investigating the various random
opcodes, such as exprand.  It exists in i, k and a-rate versions, but
the lambda varameter is always k.  I would have thought that the
i-version should have an i-paramter.  Any thoughts?

That makes sense,
does it mean that the i-rate versions currently does not use the
lambda parameter correctly? (as it would not be available at i-time)
