If you did not do any further installation, all the csound
CVS
stuff must be contained within the directory you have been
using for it.  Otherwise, I reckon things might have been
moved to /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib. The installer
will probably overwrite your older files. But if you
are building everything from CVS, then you don't really
need the binaries.

I think the installer will upgrade you to the latest
(10.13pre4)
version. The older version will still linger there, but the
links libsndfile.so and libsndfile.1.so will now point to
the new one.

I'd suggest installing (if you decide to) the version that
you have been most used to in that machine. The only
advantage of getting the binaries is that they might have
some extras you are not currently building, such as
for instance the wrappers library.
