I have converted all opcodes to use the new PVOC-EX format, and removed all code for reading or writing the old format. pvanal now always creates PVOC-EX files, even if the extension is not .pvx (also, the -c flag for selecting a single channel of multichannel files now works). Some testing of the old opcodes that were updated to use the new format may be needed (although these often had bugs already before the change). So far, pvoc and pvadd seem to work; did not try the others yet. Should an utility for converting old format PVOC files to PVOC-EX be written ? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games. Does the code still read the older format and check which it is? ==John ffitch ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games. No, all code has been converted to read the new format, but not the old. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games. It really needs to do this and I hope that it has not busted chapters from The Csound Book on pvoc. The opcodes were not removed or have the syntax changed, only the format of the analysis file is different. pvanal is also used the same way, it just generates a PVOC-EX file (which is now supported by all opcodes) instead of the old format. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
