yes, and DFT'd. They come from MIT and are based on the
same data as HRTFCompact.

Yes; the HRTF data is coding of measurements made by MIT Media Lab and
available from them

"This data is Copyright 1994 by the MIT Media Laboratory. It is
provided free with no restrictions on use, provided the authors are
cited when the data is used in any research or commercial
application."

That sounds great to me.  I am guessing that it was the "Compact HRTF
measurements" file that was used.  I think the original Csound "HRTFCompact"
file should also be added to that directory so that it can be easily
distributed (or is it already included with the manual?).
