Modifying
SConstruct
to
use
Visual
C++
2005
Express
Edition
is
a
great
idea!
Trying
to
compile
Csound5
using
MinGW/Msys
is
difficult
(at
least
for
me).
Also,
I
agree
that
the
VC++
debugger
is
much
better
than
MinGW
gdb. If Michael succeeds,
I think most WinXP SP1/SP2 and Vista users will
benefit greatly in the long run. Good luck, Mike!
Also,
I
had
no
idea
that
some
people
still
think
Csound5
doesn't
work
well
on
Intel
Mac's.
Csound5
works
very
well
on
Intel
Mac.
It
tends
to
work
straight
out
of
the
box.
For
C
API
users,
the
Unix
foundation
+
Xcode
+
CsoundLib
Framework
is
a
powerful
combination.
