The specdist opcode is actually used in otran.c aas it captures the
signal name (like the other display opcodes).  If spectra.so is not
loaded this is a problem.  I have a partial patch, but I think it
breaks specdisp opcode and spectra.so may not load.  I think this is a
better solution for the present.  I will think a little more about
this.  There are other ideas but they are contorted as well.
