Hello,
I noticed the following error message on a friends computer, running
csound (canonical 5.17, she downloaded and installed this in June)
with realtime audio i/o and midi in.
The message may very well have been appearing for some time, but I
noticed it now. It seems to be nonfatal, as performance continues as
normal.
I still thought it worth asking for advice on what this could be. I
only had a few minutes to look at it after a gig she did, so sorry if
the information is terse, and I might not be able to test possible
solutions as she's travelling with the computer at the moment.

She's recently updated ProTools, and have had midi connection problems
after that, so she now has to start protools to be able to open the
midi control panel (or what it is called on osx), and this must be
open for the midi device (usb keyboard) to be available to
applications (other than Protools).
These problems may be related to the error (or not?)
